PRINTER GENERAL ERROR
I. ERROR INDICATION
a.) This error is indicated by a flashing redlight of all the buttons:
b.) You can also see the following message in the status monitor:
II. EXPLANATION
This happens when the printer detects a “foreign object” inside the printer. It may be because the hose of the INK All-You-Can System is blocking the normal movement of the printer head. Another possible cause can be objects such as paper clips or pens misplaced inside the printer.
III. HOW TO SOLVE IT
1.) Check for any foreign object inside the printer and remove it.
2.) Check the ink hose to make sure that it is not blocking or hindering the normal movement of the printer head. Also check the T-holder to make sure it is properly in place (not loose).
IV. HOW TO AVOID THIS PROBLEM
Avoid moving the printer from one place to another as this may cause the hose to be pulled out of proportion. Also, make sure that you don’t change the hose installation or drop any object inside the printer.
